  1. Thanks for your wonderful presentation at the Manaiakalani celebration today Philomena - your research project is something that I am extremely interested in and I was really interested to hear about how you went about identifying the things that are polluting the Tamaki River. Thank you for sharing your learning in this way - I hope it will inspire lots of others to take this problem seriously and join you in finding a solution. Kind regards, Derek

  2. Thank you for this informative presentation. I learned about the process of science, as well as the state of the waterways. I look forward to seeing what influence your advocacy will have over the future of our waterways. Thank you.

  3. Kia ora Philomena,

I am so sorry that I didn’t get the chance to speak to you in person but I was at the Manaiakalani Hui this morning and I thought that you did an awesome job with your presentation. You were very confident and engaging!

I hope that you have a great week-end. I’ll look forward to seeing you when I come into St Patrick’s school in Term 4 to talk about the next version of the Summer Learning Journey programme.

    See you soon!

    Rachel :)
