  1. Thanks for your wonderful presentation at the Manaiakalani celebration today Philomena - your research project is something that I am extremely interested in and I was really interested to hear about how you went about identifying the things that are polluting the Tamaki River. Thank you for sharing your learning in this way - I hope it will inspire lots of others to take this problem seriously and join you in finding a solution. Kind regards, Derek

  2. Kia ora! Thank you for sharing your learning. Your presentation today was informative, and your video is beautifully presented. It's wonderful to see you taking interest and caring about something so critical. It's great too, to see you share your learning and in doing so challenge others to think about such important issues. You have learned a lot- and so have we!

  4. Kia ora Philomena,

I am so sorry that I didn’t get the chance to speak to you in person but I was at the Manaiakalani Hui this morning and I thought that you did an awesome job with your presentation. You were very confident and engaging!

I hope that you have a great week-end. I’ll look forward to seeing you when I come into St Patrick’s school in Term 4 to talk about the next version of the Summer Learning Journey programme.

    See you soon!

    Rachel :)
