Dutch Apple cake


Ingredients:
1 cup of flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoon sugar
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 peeled, chopped apples
50 elted butter
1 egg



  1. Sift 1 cup of flour with 1 teaspoon baking powder.
  2. Whisk 1 egg into bowl.
  3. Melt  50 grams butter in a pan and take off and transfer onto a pot stand.
  4. Add the ¼ cup of sugar onto the pan to cool down the butter.
  5. Then spoon in the egg mixture into the pan and mix.
  6. Next add the dry ingredients into the mixture and keep stirring until smooth.
  7. Put the pan aside and peel and slice the apples and make sure they are thin pieces.
  8. Next spread the mixture onto a greased tray,  add the apples and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sugar and ¼ tsp cinnamon as the topping.
  9. Finally put the it in the oven at about 180 Celsius fan forced for 15 minutes or until golden.
  10. For the final step you can go crazy and add as much ice cream or cream to go with your delicious apple cake.

Maybe next time check your spelling before you publish because you put 1 c of flower instead of 1 cup of flour. This reminds me of when my nanny made apple sponge and it had exactly the same in ingredients. Have you made this yet?

    I'm Ayesha from Grey Main School in the Mamaku Hub. That dutch apple cake sounds really good and you have explained how to make it quite well. Maybe next time you check your spelling before you publish your blog post, because in the sentence one c of flour you could make it one cup of flour so people don't get confused. This reminds me of last year when some of my class made some food for interchange. Did you get to try the dutch apple cake and if you did what would you rate it?
